This year Glebe Road Studios will present the work of 15 ceramic artists & designers during two consecutive weekends, the 28th-29th of November & the 5th-6th of December.
I will present my new series of pieces and you will have the chance to view the artists studio, buy affordable ceramic work straight from the artist, and participate in different ceramic workshops during our 2nd weekend.

The new series of pieces that I am presenting have a dreamlike quality. They consist in a group of small heads, which incorporate a fusion of natural elements into a human form. Through my work I would like to take the viewer on a journey into a fantasy world of ceramics!

This piece has been shortlisted for the Zelli Porcelain Award 2009. The theme of the sixth Zelli Award for porcelain sculpture, to take place in October 2009, is ‘Proverbs’.
This pieces is a personal interpretation of the Romanian proverb “Fields have Eyes, Woods have Ears”.
The short-listed entries will be judged by a panel of three experts, and the winner will receive a prize of £3000. There will be an additional prize of £500 for the sculpture showing the best use of colour.
The short-listed sculptures will be exhibited in Zelli’s West End gallery in London for two weeks during the period of the Award which will be announce on the 22nd of October.
