Maria Alvarez-Echenique’s involvement in different public art commissions, including ceramics workshop, murals, mosaics, and sculpture installations, have been undertaking in collaboration with different primary, secondary, special needs schools and community centres.
Since 2003, she has been delivering accessible and enjoyable visual arts and craft activities using a wide variety of medias and techniques. She has run workshops related to environmental and social themes, and has experience structuring the workshops around the curriculum and/or specific project outcomes.
