Olympic Open Weekend Arts Festival!

Trinity Buoy Wharf is once again opening its doors for the Summer Arts Festival as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend and we would like to invite you to join us for the festivities.

Throughout the two days, Docklands’ most exciting Arts Quarter will be playing host to a fantastic variety of exhibitions, tours, workshops and live music – including an exciting scratch band music performance by Grand Union Orchestra and various music and art workshops for both children and adults alike.

I will be running the drop in music & art workshop on Sunday 24th of July.

DAILY PROGRAMME- 23-24th of July 2011

11.00am-6.00pm:  ‘Waterways and Fishing Village’ art exhibition

Curated by Frank Creber, the exhibition features the work of the Water City Festival Mural Team including Maria Alvarez Echenique, Emily Ault, Nick Creber, Bob Dawson, Caroline Holden-Hotopf, Neha Malik, Alex Pemberton, Victoria Rance, Antoine Robin, Sophie Venturini, Rob Welch & UEL Fine Art students, Philippa Edwards, Valeriya Georgieva, Julie North & Annie Warner.

11.00am-1.30pm & 2.45pm-3.30pm: ‘Fishing Village’ music & art workshops

‘Drop in’ interactive art and music workshops exploring sound colours, musical characters and mindscapes led by guest artists and musicians.

11.30am-5.00pm:  Trinity Buoy Blast!

A chance for all the family to have a go at blowing a trumpet, banging a drum or bowing a violin!

Informal sessions led by experienced players.
