I have spent a couple of weeks in Latvia participating in a ceramics symposium and visiting different Latvian regions and exploring the arts and crafts of the Baltic. I am immensely grateful to my Latvian hosts for a very warm welcome & their expert guidance, and many thanks to Grundtvig for their financial support.
On this blog I will be uploading a few pictures of the highlights of places, arts and experiences that I have encountered on my journey.
To begin with I will show you some images of Riga, where we were based. We had some time to explore the beautiful medieval streets and numerous Art Nouveau buildings. In the following posts I will firstly show highlights of excursions out of Riga, and secondly focus on Latvian ceramics.
I hope it gives a good impression of Riga & Latvia ceramics, I love the whole trip! Feel free to add comments.

!SORPRESA msyúscula. No sabia que Riga tuviera tan increible arquitectura y arte!La verdad es que era una gran desconocida para mi. Preciosa ciudad por lo que has captado de ella. La escultura del caballo en la que estás sentada es alucinante.
