Avebury Sculpture Exhibition 2021

My homage to Avebury Sculpture exhibition this year explores the Neolithic landscape of Wiltshire by using the imagery of the stones and the circles themselves, combined with designs influenced by other prehistoric survivals, both natural and manmade, such as the Uffington white horse.

The pieces are made from a selection of different clays, which are emphasises by the absence of glazes. The inspiration of prehistoric pottery and cave paintings is revealed through finely drawn lines, as if partly obscured by the passage of time.

Llawr Collection

An exclusive selection of thrown cups with handmade illustrations in collaboration with my beloved Nik Llawr. This is an ongoing collection of small, medium and large cups and bowls. There is more to come, in the meantime have a look at my online shop here.

Lil Chimeneas

My latest collection of little chimeneas can be used as candle holders and oil burners. I am a cat lover and this was one source of inspiration together with tribal cultures that are always somehow part of my work and expression. They are all thrown in the potter’s wheel and I add different features using other techniques to make each of them unique.

Visit my online shop to see more. Drop me a line if you want me to create your own cat chimenea.

Terrasigillata Course with Avelino

Last year I took a group of my ceramic students to experience the magic of  Terrasigillatas with Avelino Carrasco and Angie in Madrigal de la Vera, Spain. A beautiful experience, we all have a great time! Unfortunately due to Covid-19 my classes have stopped and other students couldn’t enjoy this experience! Hopefully we will come back next year!
